Most people who buy a Tenerife Property tell us their main reason is to take advantage of the wonderful temperate Tenerife climate, which is officially acknowledged to be the best in the world. Another strong contributing factor is the all year round letting potential, which is also due to the amazing climate. General Guide Price for Apartments and Villas

There is a good choice of Tenerife Apartments and Villas to suit most budgets. Los Cristianos is one of the most popular location choices and as Estate Agents we offer the following starting price guide for resale Los Cristianos Property: (Euros)

• Studios:€75k
• One Bedroom Apartments:€120k
• Two Bedroom Apartments:€160k
• Three Bedroom Apartments:€240k
• Villas:€300k

Obviously prices do vary according to the age of the property, condition, location and specification. Most resale properties will come furnished and some will be fully equipped so that you can move in with just a suitcase full of personal belongings.

Prices for Las Americas Property are similar to Los Cristianos but if you are considering living out of town or along the coast prices will be less. Playa San Juan Property is very reasonable by comparison, this small picturesque fishing village is along the coast but it has been given a new beach.

Some New Developments in Tenerife are very reasonable but remember to budget for furnishings and fittings.

Tenerife was colonised by the Spanish in 1496 and the previous inhabitants, the Guanches were baptised and introduced into a new bi-cultural society. Sadly, Tenerife History has shown that most of the Guanches fell victim to various epidemics brought to the island by the new settlers. Tenerife grew in the same way as many other colonies and the Canary Islands became an autonomous Community during 1982.
