As Tenerife Estate Agents, we offer Tenerife long term rentals and we have noticed the economic downturn has resulted in an increase in letting prospects because of people migrating to Tenerife. We classify long term letting as a rental for a period of six months to twelve months, or an extended period as otherwise agreed. Tenerife Rental contracts are nearly always renewable, subject to status.

Tenants in Tenerife

When renting a property in Tenerife, for a long duration as a tenant, it is normal to pay a deposit which will be held to ensure any damage can be rectified quickly in readiness for future use. The property will be let in good order and an inventory provided, you will need to check the inventory and notify us if anything is damaged or missing.

The property will be checked when you depart and the deposit returned subject to everything being in order. When entering into a rental agreement we would ask that you give one months notice of intent to leave so that we can advertise that Tenerife accommodation for long term rental again.
