As Tenerife Estate Agents, we offer Tenerife long term rentals, the economic downturn has resulted in an increase in Tenerife long term letting prospects because of people migrating to Tenerife. We classify long term letting as a rental for a period of six months or more. Long term lets would normally be for a period six to twelve months, or a period otherwise agreed. Long term rental contracts are nearly always renewable.

Rent to buy options in Tenerife
Rent to buy is a new method of renting whereby your rental payments are deducted from the purchase price when you do buy the property. The advantage is that you do not have to pay a sizeable deposit when you purchase and the purchase price reduces during your period of rental.It is a good way of fixing the purchase price and investing in a property until you can afford to buy. The conversion date is not fixed.

Useful Information
Tenants
When renting a property in Tenerife as a tenant it is normal to pay a deposit which will be held to ensure any damage can be rectified quickly in readiness for future letting. The property will be let in good order and an inventory provided, you will need to check the inventory and notify us if anything is damaged or missing.
The property will be checked when you depart and the deposit returned subject to everything being in order. When entering into a long term rental agreement we would ask that you give one months notice of intent to leave so that we can advertise the property for rental again.
Should you wish to extend the agreement please let us know one month before the agreement expires so that we can check with the owner. Why not complete our Tenant Rental Enquiry form.
